The Goldklang Group is a sports entertainment consulting and management firm. The Group provides operational consulting and management services in all areas relating to sports franchise, event, and venue acquisition, promotion and operation. Currently, the Group owns and operates three minor league baseball clubs, the St. Paul Saints, Charleston RiverDogs, and Hudson Valley Renegades, and collegiate baseball club Pittsfield Suns. Over more than two decades, the Group has participated in the construction and/or financing of four minor league baseball stadiums. Today, the Group's core business remains the operation of its proprietary clubs and year-round management of their associated venues.

Job Description:

The Goldklang Group is seeking aggressive, competitive, professional, and passionate individuals to be hired as Inside Sales Associates. Inside Sales Associates will be responsible for selling ticket packages and group tickets on behalf of all four (4) Goldklang Group teams via telemarketing. This 5-6 month opportunity will be based with the Hudson Valley Renegades in Fishkill, NY and will provide Inside Sales Associates with a training program designed to prepare them for a full-time ticket sales position with a sports organization. Top performers will receive the opportunity to interview with Goldklang Group teams and possibly transition into a full-time role.

Job Functions:

  • Complete a designated number of sales calls, identifying customer needs and interests, via outbound phone sales
  • Obtain leads and answer any questions
  • Solicit new ticket package and group ticket business
  • Maintain all client tickets and information through ticketing system
  • Handle ticketing and customer service of new and assigned clientele
  • Coordinate all aspects of a sale
  • Coordinate visits to ballparks for prospective clients
  • Meet and exceed designated annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals developed by Inside Sales Manager
  • Coordinate with other sales departments to offer “full menu” sales to prospects and existing customers
  • Attendance and punctuality
  • Perform related duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Ability to re-locate to Fishkill, NY area for the duration of the program (5-6 months) and willingness to consider relocation to a Goldklang Group team at the conclusion of the program
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Proficient in basic computer software programs
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, time management, and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • One year sales experience preferred
  • Strong telemarketing, fundraising and/or sales skills preferred
  • Ability to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays

Compensation:

  • Hourly plus commission
  • Housing assistance provided in the Fishkill, NY area
